EcoFloral was born out of a passion for modern, affordable home decor and a commitment to sustainable practices. We combine low-carbon 3d printing with the latest in cutting-edge sustainable materials to bring home decor into the future. Our floral vases and planters fill a much needed gap in sustainable and affordable options for floristry and home design.
We were so excited when ecogenesis biopolymers' genPHATM filament came on the market. Not only does this filament meet all of our high standards for sustainable materials, to include biodegradation without persistent microplastic breakdown products, it also performed better than other PHA and PLA filaments on the market. 4b design is a lighting company based in San Francisco. One of most important realities of product design we have learned over the years is that almost every manufactured multi-material product will ultimately end up in a landfill. Working with Ecogenesis Biopolymers has allowed us to challenge this reality. Our products (save for electrical components) are made entirely out of genPHA™ and wood. At the end of our products' lives, they can be readily broken down and composted or planted in a garden. Even if they were to accidentally end up in a landfill, they would still decompose. We are designing a system of interchangeable light form factors and shades, all compostable, and all thanks to our partnership with Ecogenesis Biopolymers.
