RENEWABLE MATERIAL – genPHA™ is fully biodegradable and compostable.  Made from natural materials and minerals, genPHA™ biodegrades without leaving persistent microplastics behind.  Print without adding microplastics to the environment.  genPHA™ is phthalate-free, BPA-free and CPSIA compliant.  Contains no chemicals listed under California’s Proposition 65.

ENERGY EFFICIENT – genPHA™  DOES NOT require any drying time.  Utilizes up to 5x less energy than PLA and 8x less energy than PETG¹.   genPHA™ also does not require a heated bed, providing additional print savings per object.

DIMENSIONAL ACCURACY – Closed-loop controls adjust the extrusion process in real time, ensuring a Dimensional Accuracy of +/- 0.02mm.  This high-dimensional accuracy makes genPHA filament compatible with most 1.75mm FDM 3D printers.

LESS TANGLE & CLOG-FREE  –  Each spool is neatly wound for a tangle-free filament.   Print efficiently, avoiding line breakages and snaps, for smooth, clog-free printing.

WIDE COMPATIBILITY –  genPHA™ filament is compatible with most consumer and industrial Direct Drive 1.75mm FDM 3D printers.  PHA has some success with Bowden or tube-driven printers but should be tested first.

genPHA™ is made in compliance with TUV Austria’s standard for Marine Biodegradability, eco-toxicity and fragmentation.  Our material is also compliant with the US standard for Marine Biodegradability, ASTM 6691.   But please NEVER NEVER toss any print into the environment.  We always encourage and support proper disposal.
