Soleic™ plant based TPU 1260D

Soleic® TPUs are plant based, low carbon, biodegradable, and non-ecotoxic.

Derived from plants and certified by USDA BioPreferred, Soleic® TPUs combine cutting-edge performance with exceptional environmental responsibility. Soleic® TPUs come with a carbon footprint reduction, ranging from 77.8% to 83.8%, and they are chemically designed to completely biodegrade in the most sensitive ecosystems, including our waterways and oceans.[1] At the end of their life these materials leave no harmful microplastics behind[2]. Following modified ASTM D5338 methodology, shredded TPUs have been mixed with compost and incubated at 45 °C. After 180 days, the materials have achieved 27% absolute biodegradation as measured by CO2 respirometry.
